Photographer’s Note
A second and final photo from Sydney's annual Sculpture by the Sea exhibition between Bondi and Tamarama beaches. This sculpture, "Transition", a series of 3 structures by Satu Bushell was made mainly of perspex and produced very abstract reflections of the surrounding sandstone rocks that contrast with the colours of the sea behind. Also in the scene was a woman taking a photo of her own warped reflection.
The beach at the top is Tamarama.

Hi Ian,
Superb photo from this landscape construction. The composition is exciting, the environment and the relation of the work of art appear on the photo spectacularly. Congratulations. Tfs! Have a nice day!

Hi Ian.
I know this coastal walk very well, having stayed with friends in Bronte numerous times and walked around to Bondi via Tamarama.
Good idea for a picture, and the shot has a pleasing luminous quality with rich colours and good exposure of the waves' foam - they're often reduced to an amorphous white shape on sunny day photos. The girl's pink top makes a nice colour contrast. Perhaps I'd have moved a fraction more to the right to get more of her reflection in the shot, but it's a moot point. Nice work.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Ian, ooh nice work here. The shiny sculpture is just a lollyshop for a photographer and you've really made the most of it. Lovely colours, exposure and depth and I like your vertical framing. Nice spotting, TFS, Lisa.
