At a major pilgrimage in Bodhagaya,thousands of pilgrims come from all over the world. In the area before the Mahabodi tree, the place where the Buddha sat on the light of his enlightenment, marquees are set up, for pilgrims to meditate of chant the Sutas, the sermons of the Buddha.Here a group of nuns, led by a female priest, is chanting the Suta of the enlightenment.It is one of those places that have a unique and intense atmosphere.

fantastic light, the perspective is very good light go's over in the shadow a very good element in the shot, the colors are good, a good one, have a good evening.

Cette prise de vue présentant une réunion religieuse composée de femmes exprime une ferveur certaine.
Une photographie très réussie entre le premier et l'arrière-plan qui donnent de la profondeur à l'ensemble de la composition.
Très bonnes couleurs également.

Interesting scene taken from a good vantage point with a good light on the nuns in FG making for a contrast with the ones in BG. The saffron cloth on each red table added a nice color touch to the image.
I made a small ws, hoping you don't mind ;)

this is a very interesting picture!The light on the first rows of nuns,and the shadows on the last ones give a great depth,and in the same time,enhances the beauty of the orange colors!Superb!

Splendid general view, Kevin. The light couldn't be better making the front rows stand out while it gets darker with distance. Good that the photographer at left is almost invisible in that darkness. Nice also that the orange elements contribute to give importance to the first row. Curious that the only person not dressed in white seems to be distracted with something else...
