Photographer’s Note

Blue Hour in Oberstdorf. Also the last hour to look for a place for dinner before the kitchen is closed.

Photo shows a small square in front of the Altes Rathaus and the church. Oberstdorf is located in southwest Germany in the Allgäu region of the Bavarian Alps. In 1865 a devastating fire destroyed most the old buildings. Still there are a lot of beautiful old buildings to see & appreciate. Perhaps, the old buildings were meticulously reconstructed or restored as was practiced in many parts of Germany.

I like this shot, with good exposure and nice composition.
the inclusion of the plants in the FG (although blurry) add nice depth to the image

beautiful blue-hour take from a town, i already visited some years ago for a weekend-trip..
really a very pleasant town..and a nice capture with a great mood..

Hi Latiff,

yes we lost contact...long time, huh? How's Mark II going? I'm really thinking about buying one but here in Brazil it's too expensive. Here you present an excellent blue hour photo. I'm impressed by the quality in its light, colors and exposure. There is a nice contrast between the the blue of the sky and the warm tones of the lower part. Very pleasant to look at. Well done!

a nice snapshot the most beautiful hour of the day,the blue hour.I like the scene with the tourists? to stroll in the road.The bouquet of the flowers is decorating pleasantly the scene.

Hi Latiff,
I like this type of restaurants, have many extra spaces outside the restaurants, good pov to show some oppesite restaurants with including the little garden, full in relaxing feel, thanks for sharing the night view.
