Cordes-sur-Ciel is a little medieval town on the top of the hill in South France. The fortified town was built in 1222 by Raimon VII.

This is a well composed shot of this hill top village. The off center placement of the village is great creating a diagonal through the scene. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has fine sharpness and DOF. The autumn colors are a nice compliment for the colors of the buildings.

very lovely view indeed. The autumn forest leaves are wonderful, giving a special colourful and peaceful mood. The buildings are so classically arranged like mushrooms.
Well composed and you have gone to a very effective vantage point.
