La Rue Trivalle au pied de la cité mediévalle est comme un village au cœur de la ville de Carcassonne, entre la cité et la ville basse.

La physionomie de la Trivalle aujourd'hui conserve son âme tel un village. On discute sur les trottoirs, on interpelle des fenêtres, tout le monde se connait... La réelle dimension humaine , la convivialité qui persistent ici, en font un quartier à part dans la préfecture audoise.

La Rue Trivalle at the foot of the famous medieval cité is like a village in the heart of Carcassonne, right between the famous castle and the city proper.

In both look and lay-out of the Trivalle has managed to preserve the feel of an old village, where the street and pavements are for neighbourly talks and discussions, windows are used to call down from and everybody still knows everybody else.

well, thanks for not making this image another example of hyper-saturated photo with screaming contrasts and unrealistic details... it's a relaxing composition with warm and cool colours, like our eyes sometimes long for.

Hi Benny,
Nice composition around colors and horizontal and vertical lines. It is a program which I like!
I would, maybe, have put just a little more red and just a little less blue so that every vertical band has a different width. It is just a personal opinion, I do not want to impose it!
