Photographer’s Note
The third in a short series of photographs taken close to the village where I live whilst walking the dog on a warm and sunny afternoon in late October.
Some information about Poplar Trees from Wikipedea:
Populus is a genus of 25–35 species of deciduous flowering plants in the family Salicaceae, native to most of the Northern Hemisphere. English names variously applied to different species include poplar, aspen, and cottonwood. The genus has a large genetic diversity, and can grow from anywhere between 15–50 metres tall, with trunks of up to 2.5 metres diameter.
The bark on young trees is smooth, white to greenish or dark grey, often with conspicuous lenticels; on old trees it remains smooth in some species, but becomes rough and deeply fissured in others. The shoots are stout, with (unlike in the related willows) the terminal bud present. The leaves are spirally arranged, and vary in shape from triangular to circular or (rarely) lobed, and with a long petiole; in species in the sections Populus and Aegiros, the petioles are laterally flattened, so that breezes easily cause the leaves to wobble back and forth, giving the whole tree a "twinkling" appearance in a breeze. Leaf size is very variable even on a single tree, typically with small leaves on side shoots, and very large leaves on strong-growing lead shoots. The leaves often turn bright gold to yellow before they fall during autumn.

Hi Stephen, you must have a very patient puppy who waits for you whilst you do your photos. I suppose he also has things to do with all those trees everywhere :) The symmetry here is impressive all accentuated by the vertical framing. The textures and light convey a very autumnal scene, nice work, TFS, Lisa

Bonjour Stephen

Hi Stephen
Good sidelighting, with superb lead in lines & diminishing linear perspective. Nice repetition of the poplar trees & their vertical lines. Merci!

Bonjour Stephen,
Amicalement

Stephen,
This is a nice autumn shot with the remaining colorful leaves on the trees and the brown leaves on the ground. The road leads the eye through the shot nicely with the fence poles and trees creating repeating patterns. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The shadows create nice lines across the the photo.

Hi Stephen,
A very straight and symmetric perspective and it nearly looks like the path between the trees continue in the sky... A pleasant place to walk and I am quite certain that your dog enjoys this place too, soo many trees;-)
Kind regards

Hi Stephen,
Peacefull mood here. Autumn colours are gone but still
nature has its beauty in all it forms. Good DOF. I like
the white kind of ray rising upwards at the far end.
Have a nice weekend.

Hello Stephen,
This scene gives a very strong late autumn feeling, with most of the leaves on the ground!
I also notice an interesting thing as the trees in the alley seem to have been bent by the dominating wind direction, this is rare to see demonstrated as clearly as here...
All together a fine autumnal documentation!
Greetings,

Hello POV,
Une formidable impression de perspective et une uperb profondeur de champ grâce à ce POV très bien choisi et à la bonne utilisation du graphisme donné par la double haie de peupliers. J'aime aussi les très belles couleurs tendres.
Amitiés,
Roger

Hi Stephen,
nice way and the poplar trees beside it. You have captured it nicely that the way leads our eyes to the end of the canvas. Nice sky is visible through the trees. Great light. The shadow on way created here nice natural effect. Very well done. Tfs.
Have a great day.
