Photographer’s Note
Antequera is in the inland of Malaga province and is not big on the tourist trail of Andalucia but is central to a lot of interesting and photogenic areas. Above the city is the Alcazaba with its Moorish and Roman remains. The Alcazaba has impressive walls including ones that head off towards the hills in a manner (almost like the Great Wall of China). There's been plenty of restoration work in recent years, like anywhere with tourist potential.

Hi Ian, that sky is so brooding and dramatic, everything perfectly exposed and the depth excellent. I like the position of the tower to the left of the frame and those winding roads going off into the ditance on the right. It really does remind me of the Great Wall of China! Nice work, thanks for sharing, Lisa.

Ian,
Your POV is outstanding with the wall leading the eye to the tower. The ruins create a nice diagonal through the shot. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has nice sharpness and DOF. The rolling hills form a fine backdrop for the shot.
TFS,
Asa

What a lovely presentation of this fascinating and historic area! The ancient structure looks wonderful against the mountainous landscape and makes a fine documentary record. You have managed to arranged the structure within the frame in an attractive way. Regards Kevin
