Hi Steve,
I like the contrast you captured between these two girls. Each of them wears a garment at the image of their own mood : the one with the black veil looks pretty serious and sad, and the blue of her garment reflects the coldness of her expression. The other one has a more cheerful look with this smile that lights up her face and enhances her beauty; The bright red of her garment inspires lust, passion, generosity and health, all things to which we turn our attention unconsciously. Well done.
Best regards,
Christian

Hi Steve,
This pair of Kalbeliya girls seems to be popular in Pushkar; Wanda van den Hogen (Wanda1) and me have met them as well, as they were insisting to draw mehndi on Wanda's hands... :-P) We finally trade off the offer for a couple of shots instead...
Their attitude is quite different, one being natural and smiling, while the other is trying to pose like the models she saw in Indian magazines... :-P)
I think the contrast between your subjects is interesting, as it almost look like two different portrait.
Too bad you had a white wall as a background, as it's overblown in most part. Never hesitate to move your subject(s) to another area with a better background or to turned them around, so the light is favorable.
Cheers!
André

Hey Steve..
"but maybe trouble" - why is that..???
never been to the pushkar..dont know the stories..good unision of colours and a contrast in expression..your metering had to be the wall to get the textures and controlled exposure but then you would have to open up the shadow areas in PS...

S: you didn't find them; they found you. Recognize them both and they know they're beautiful. What about that obscure, oblique, inscrutability of the blue one?
