Chinese Terra Cotta Army in my city.
Honor for my city!

The Terra Cotta Army - "soldier and horse funerary statues") are the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang the First Emperor of China. The terracotta figures, dating from 150 AD, were discovered in 1974 by some local farmers near Xi'an, Shaanxi province, China near the Mausouleum of the second Ming Emperor. Qín Shǐhuáng Líng). The figures vary in height (183–195 cm, according to their role, the tallest being the generals. The figures include strong warriors, chariots, horses, officials, acrobats, strongmen, and musicians. Current estimates are that in the three pits containing the Terracotta Army there were over 2,000 soldiers, 100 chariots with 400 horses and 300 cavalry horses, the majority of which are still buried in the pits.

Z podziwem patrze na sylwetki tych wojownikow, naprawde niezwykly to zabytek, wyobrazam sobie ile trudu kosztowalo przewiezienie tej "armii" do Polski. Zazdroszcze Ci mozliwosci obejrzenia tego cudu na zywo.
Intrygujace sa te figury.

This is my favourite image so far from this very interesting series. The point of view is well chosen to give a fine perspective over horses and chariot. I like especially the lighting, which brings a particular mood to the scene. Very good colours and sharpness.

Splendid image of a chariot drawn by four horses. Even the spots are different. It is a magnificent work of art. Excellent composition, great colors, light and good details.
