Photographer’s Note

This is a view of the Kemiri group at about 3000 mt. above sea level, Gunung Kemiri is situated at the hearth of Gunung Leuser national park in north Sumatra,covering an approximated area of 7927 km2 it is one of the greatest park in south east asia and one of the last nature habitats of rare Sumatran orangutans, double–horned rhinos and Sumatran elephants.
To reach this point is a strenous 3 days trek trought a poorly marked trail in the rainforest, I hope it will last forever and we will leave this heritage intact for future generations.
