Photographer’s Note

A beautiful evening by the sea, a wee bit before sunset.

The tide was way out and very still.

The sight reminded me of some photos of Japanese zen gardens I've seen, hence the title.

This area is known as Tyne Sands, beside the mouth of the Scottish River Tyne.

Alastair,
Perfect scene, perfectly recorded and cropped. I like it more than any Japanese photos I've seen - they tend to be a bit too formal for my taste.
