Photographer’s Note

An old scan from color slides (the Velvia 100) of the Yellowston Canyon, with its magic colors and waterfalls. A characteristic of this place that I have always noticed in every photo is that the change of colors from the river and the land is so sharp that it looks like that the border was highlines by a black pencil.

Hello Stefano,

I often saw photos of this place and each times I find it beautiful. It is like a invitation to visit Yellowstone.
The composition and framing was using very well the drawing of the river making us travelling from the fall to the canyon.

si vede la forza della natura... e´ si vede come e´importante un parco nazionale.. normalmente purtroppo si fa´ un centro elettrico in un posto del genere..

Breathtaking view of the Canyon! Excellent composition and POV. The river is draws the eye down the photo. But my eyes were first drawn to the muilticoloured steep canyon walls. Love all the natural mix of colours. Good details and clarity.
