Photographer’s Note
View from fork under Giewont. This is a last "pitstop" before the top: end of red route and 15 minute climb with blue route and You are on the top of Giewont. Actually, way to Giewont is easy route, but it takes more than 3 hours to climb and 2,5 hours to return. This is a challenge for many non-sporting families.
I wish to stress that everyone has to have in backpack atleast 1,5 liters of drinking water. And remember the last point where You can get water is streems in valley 20 minuites from National Park entrance, later on the route there no place where to get water untill You return schronisco (mountain hut) or to exit form National Park. The day I went to Giewont temperature was about +26C and my 1,5L bottle become empty on halfway of return and last 1,5 hour I was dreaming to drink fresh mountain water.
