Chinese Terra Cotta Army in my city.
Honor for my city!
The Terra Cotta Army - "soldier and horse funerary statues") are the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang the First Emperor of China. The terracotta figures, dating from 150 AD, were discovered in 1974 by some local farmers near Xi'an, Shaanxi province, China near the Mausouleum of the second Ming Emperor. Qín Shǐhuáng Líng). The figures vary in height (183–195 cm, according to their role, the tallest being the generals. The figures include strong warriors, chariots, horses, officials, acrobats, strongmen, and musicians. Current estimates are that in the three pits containing the Terracotta Army there were over 2,000 soldiers, 100 chariots with 400 horses and 300 cavalry horses, the majority of which are still buried in the pits.

Hello Krzysztof,
A well chosen perspective on these wonderful figures. The lighting is good; also the tones and textures. Something I have always wanted to see in the flesh.

Ja dzis fotografowalam rozne interesujace scenki wyrzezbione w swiatyniach w Kadzuraho. Ciekawa jestem co mi z nich wyjdzie. Ale tu jest element, liczny i kolorowy! Pozdr. M.

Good evening Krzysztof!
Here at first the title caught my eyes ;-)You show us a really impressive scenery. You really took advantage of this not everyday occasion. The light and the dark surroundings make this picture even a bit mysterious.
Greetings from cold and rainy Germany!

Witaj Krzysztof,
These soldiers, so magnificent, seems ready to march. Imagine carving thousands of them, a task as challenging as building the Great Wall. Very beautiful composition, excelent management of light, good sense of depth.
Greetings

Cześć
Mówią że dobrze aby Chińczycy najechali Polskę, czemu ?
Przez Rosję przechodzili by dwa razy, raz idąc tu, drugi raz wracając po klęsce.
A tak poważnie to zdjęcie doskonałe, niesamowite oświetlenie, świetny temat i perfekcyjna ostrość.
Pozdrawiam
Józek
