Our Lady of Sorrows Church Photo

Photographer’s Note

Churchs archtecture is one of the styles of photo I most like. In Barbacena city, I take photos of five churchs.

Here I show the Our Lady Sorrows (Piedade) Church. The church was built between 1748-1764 architected by Jose Fernanes Alpoim (portuguese military, one of most important architects of XVIII in Brazil colony).

The church has barroque style. Inside the church a image of Our Lady of Sorrows made of wood in Portugal, it has many colors and gold.

The church is center of religious activity of the city and is a Federal Patrimony since 1988 by IPHAN.

Uma beleza mesmo de arquitetura.Muita boa nitidez e POV mostrando o bom estado de conservação desta igreja.
Belos detalhes desta arte barroca.Será que hoje ainda controem-se igrejas assim?

Assim com estas nuvens era bom para utilizar o meu filtro laranja :) , mas a imagem ficou com um bom dramatismo , gostei dos detalhes da igreja tem uma bonita arquitectura , bom ponto de visão baixo , parabéns!!
