Photographer’s Note

Canada Bay just a week or so ago was calm and blue, which makes this place a great place to walk around the 7km track, next to the water almost every step of the way. It is good to see the recovery of the mangroves which have been encouraged to take back their original place around this northern side of the bay. It has been found one of the best natural ways to keep the water healthy and clean.

It's a pretty spot, that's for sure. Good to see the Mangroves regenerating, they are such a big part of the ecological system.
Good POV, you've captured the essence of the bay very well.

Hi Murray,

The presence of the boats has an effect of scale. The point of view takes my eye towardthe trees in the background of the bay which is giving depth to the composition. The trees are framing well the bay. Theearly morning light is enhancing the different tints of colors of the scenery. Have a nice day.

Hi Murray, good to see someone is showing our Northern neighbours the beauties of the Inner West's waterways. We must be evil twins as I was just south of this spot on Saturday afternoon at what I thought was Rodd Point. a nice and tranquil seascape view of the Canada bay,with the lots of boats to be anchored in the calmly waters.I like the way that the greenery surround the bay as the brilliant light of the day.Well done.

This is really calm and peaceful scene full of light and air. The boats and red roofs of the houses make the picture be so bright colorful. Very well composed and captured!

Hi Murray a good photo on a bright day and further up the harbour to the usual Sydney shots. Good POV with plenty of interest.
