Photographer’s Note
It was fun just to watch people's reaction to this art installation ("Boy Holding Frog") in Venice. This young lady seems slightly perplexed. Hmm...

Hi Dave-
This is hilarious - great capture of the woman's expression. "A picture is worth a thousand words."

hi dave,
you captured a wonderful natural expression of that girl.
she doesn't seem to like this kind of modern art....

Dave, good evening.
Really good picture, you could sit there all day and make a good collection of reactions. Rather like Robert Doisneau's 'The sidelong glance'.
The girls reaction is very interesting you could muse for a long time about her thoughts. Well seen.
All the best

Ah ah ah !!! Hello Dave,
EXCELLENT ! superbe instant décisif, ça fait du bien de temps en temps de voir des images un peu plus légères, dans l'instantané où les postures ou les mimiques en disent long. Mais vraiment bravo à toi !!

Hi,
I don't see what all the fuss is about. After all, this statue is just a nude of a twelve year old boy holding a frog, and I'm not sure the sight of a young boy's genitals would shake a girl of her age as all that ! If you look carefully, you will notice that the lady is looking in a different direction than the one you imply. Sorry not to share your enthusiasm, but I find this shot unappropriate. Here you can see the front statue. There's nothing to worry about !
Regards,
Christian

Hi Dave
this is comical for sure!
the look on her face is priceless
its too bad we couldn't see more of that Venice scenery in the background...but i know that isn't the focal point of your photo.
Very well captured moment!
have a great day
