Dara harabeleri Mardin'de mutlaka görülmesi gereken yerlerden. Dara Perslerin Persepolis'ten sonra ikinci büyük şehri. Burasi necropolü; yani ölüler kenti ama herkes ölü değil burada... Yaşam devam ediyor.

Dara ruins in Mardin is a must-see..Dara is on the way from Midyat to Nusaybin. It was the second largest Persian metropolis after Persepolis. The ruins are gigantic and most are still intact. The city spans a vast area. The voluntary guides are always children. This is the necropolis (city fo the dead) of Dara.
Not everyone aroudn is dead as you can see and are interested in what is going on in the world. ;-))
