Photographer’s Note

Das Schloss Glanegg befindet sich in der im Bundesland Salzburg gelegenen österreichischen Gemeinde Grödig.

Das herrschaftliche Schloss steht weithin sichtbar auf einem bewaldeten Hügel am Westrand des Ortsteiles Glanegg inmitten eines weitläufigen Parks mit im Süden anschließenden Gartenterrassen. Es wurde bereits um 1350 als erzbischöflicher Sitz erwähnt und war Jahrhunderte lang Sitz eines Pflegschaftsgerichtes. Unter Erzbischof Paris Lodron wurde es Teil einer Talsperre zur Sicherung des Hinterlandes der Stadt Salzburg.

A lovely autumnal mood to this fine composition engendered by the warm colours of the sunlit foliage and the scattered leaves. I like also the presence of the interesting statue and the benches in the foreground. Very good colours and sharpness.

Good morning Georg,
nice composition with the statue to combine so nice with the castle on the background.I like the side light but the castle in the shadow is 'painted' with a blue tint.This sense engaging from the blue of the sky.

une superbe photo et cadrage un peu en hauteur de cet imposant chateau dans un décor automnal avec ce tapis de feuilles et tu as pris soin d'inclure les deux bancs et cette statue entre ces 2 bancs
malheureusement je n'en connais pas la sgnification ne comprenant pas l'allemand
