Photographer’s Note
This is my humble addition to the Cape Schanck lighthouse.
Steve, Andrew, Kaludio and me went out shooting at sorrento last year in October. Pity we couldnt get close to the lighthouse because the thing was locked out for public so we had to resort to taking pictures of it from afar.
Steve took this picture and Andrew took this one.

Hi Kamran, you've done a great job with this difficult location. I went here (on the day I met Santo, Bill and Alfred for the first time) and completely fluffed this exact POV. Theimage is beautiful, has great depth and you;ve boldly and wisely used the vertical frame. Thanks also for your Note giving us a link to the shots of Andrew and Steve, it's always interesting to see how different people shoot the same subject. Have a great Sunday, and TFS, Lisa

Hello Kamran,
Nice picture, I would have cropped the image to the upper half (more or less) though. Good light management and saturation.

Hello Kamram
How's the quiet nights going? Hey nice shot, the DOF is brilliant, maybe a little too much FG but I like this shot. Just enough view of the ocean and the rocky outcrop that resembles a cat, the sky is interesting with just a hint of colour. This place has quite a significance to Ruth's family as her Mother's ashes were released to sea here.
Thanks for Sharing

Hello Kamran,
I rather enjoy the large foreground. It shows the difficulty of the terrain and makes the lighthouse in the distance look small and "cute". The tower rises nicely against the background of the well shaped cloud.
It was interesting to see the links to the other pictures. It's always fascinating how different minds can take such different pictures from the same place.
Best wishes,
Gert

Hello Kamran, Interesting to see the three shots taken from almost the same place but all different, thanks for the link, Steve showed me how to link a photo like this but I have forgotten. Nice light management, sharp & detailed FG, good colour with the clouds behind the distant lighthouse providing a little drama. Nice, it clearly shows the terrain surrounding this lonely beacon.
Thanks
Santo

Hi Kamran,
The lighthouse seems so lonely out there on the edge all on its own. I like that you have so much foilage in the foreground and the slope forms a nice diagonal line in the composition. Love the sky with those wispy painterly clouds.

Hi Kamran,
Beautiful landscape. The lighthouse is far away in your picture... But the rendering of the vegetation is great.
Cheers

Hi Kamran,
Schanck by Kschanna :)
Nice colourful verticle.
I like the composition very much.
The sky/clouds are captain fantastic.
Lucky the gate was locked - we would not have seen this shot.
Regards,
Graham.
