Photographer’s Note

That's another hawker at the roadside with his mobile kitchen selling deep fried snacks. There are countless such kitchen on wheels along the streets in the center of Georgetown peddling their food and drinks. Some have tables and chairs with them others are selling just take-away. Most of them work seven days a week but only to certain hours, depending the location.

Another splendid daily life scene from Georgetown's busy streets.
Strong clear colors and a great expression on the vendors face.

Hallo Urs,

In Brazil there is also these street foods. Many sellers are autonomous and do not pay taxes. Excellent capture of the apparent disorder of the mobile kitchen. The snacks seem appetizing. Great colors and details.

Olá Urs, it's something very asian, I suppose. And it's a surprise to find out how tasty much of this food is. For sure better than the fast food sold by Burger King and similar restaurants. Nice close up. The flash overexposed her white shirt but it's still a good portrait.

Namaste Urs,
great to see the road side kitchen on wheels and the very oily deep fry snacks. I suppose it is so much tasty as Indian fried snacks. But it is so much injurious to health. Not suitable for regular eating but very good subject for photography indeed. You have taken the portrait of this man nicely. Light is brilliant. Is there some other light source except your flash gun? I think it after seeing the shadow of the pole. Anyway nice framing and the depth is great. Very well done.
