A spot of Lunch Photo

Photographer’s Note

In Newcastle the other day we lunched at the harbour foreshore. There is a row of restaurants set side by side along the waterfront. This shot is taken from my lunch table two restaurants away from the place these people were eating. Do you see the alien eyes staring at me? I noticed the eyes as I was looking at if I should convert and up-load a BW.

Hi Graham, ah you lunch-set I dunno. It seems like one swanky restaurant to the next. The alien looks great and immedately caught eye (or is it a peacock??) Anyway, a nice slice of Novacastrian Daily Life. (Is that how I say it?) Good spotting, I think I prefer the colour version, it's so alive. TFS, and happy Saturday, Lisa.

I like this photograph and I prefer it such as it is, with his colors. It is a superb image of the life of people, and also a tempting image… Congratulations.

She looks like she is not sure like she is not sure what she is about to eat while the fellow opposite her is chompping away.

Hello Graham, The colours are great here especial the one with what Lisa called the "Martian", nice candid shot of a daily life scene. I think I might have tried cropping the bottom a little & the left, I would have tried placing the young lady further left & slightly lower, I don't know if that would work but it's an idea I had, Thought I would share it with you. By the way it looks as though she has seen something that she does not like on her plate, interesting pose. I prefer the BW image, more impact, I think. Thanks

You zoomed in well from two restaurants away. A great daily life scene of alien eyes, a peacock dress and a beaded woman with too many options on the menu. Hope you had a nice meal. Tfs, Marlene
