Photographer’s Note

Patience, waiting for tourists and workmen to clear the area,tight focusing and sharp shadows cast by the mid day sun, rewarded me with this cool and tranquil looking scene. The building is part of the Rhodes Port Authority complex and I believe was once the Customs House. In any case an architectural gem from any point of view

Magnifique composition graphique ! un sacré bon coup d'oeil pour capturer la dynamique de ces arcades. La lumière très dure procure un excellent contraste sous ces voutes. C'est très bien vu, bravo !

Welcome to TE. Great image of these wonderful arches. Even though the light conidtions seems difficult, you have manage to get a god exposed image with realistic colours and good effect of the shade. Well done! Thanks for sharing.
