Photographer’s Note

I thought this was a lotus bud, but I was wrong! I am very poor when it comes to identifying flowers.
Thanks to Angshuman, for correctly identifying the flower as water lily.
I took this picture in the Longwood gardens, PA. It is a really nice garden and offers a lot to a plant lover.

I like the back lighting on the leaf behin the lotus bud. Excellent composition with the bud surrounded by four companion leaves.

i also think it's lotus only... your framing is very nice here... the tone of sky is giving a good background on water... almost horizontal sunrays give attractive highlights...

ami kichhudin age ei ek-i bhul korechhilam. Ami aro kom chini, ful dekheo chinte parini. Anyway it is a good capture. Focus is great. Nice to see the edges of the leafs. Colour- ta satti-i sundar hoechhe. Very well done. Tfs.
