The gypsy, gipsy, or romani music originating in Eastern Europe is played by the Gypsies, Roms, Bohémiens, according to various names.
The musicians gypsies are characterized by a vast repertory, a great capacity of improvisation, and a very great instrumental virtuosity, in the use, inter alia, of the violin, the accordion, the clarinet, the guitar, of the double bass, for the execution of their folk traditional music, jazz or classical music.

In Western Europe, Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli one makes evolve the gypsy music in gypsy jazz, gypsy swing, manouche jazz, with the same basic instruments, and on several rhythmic, of which the waltz and the tango.

Montpellier is a french commune, and the chief town of the Languedoc-Roussillon area, populated of 244 300 (in 2005), Montpelliérains and Montpelliéraines en 1999, distributed on 57 km², is 3 963 hab/km².

It is on 985, in a donation of the county of Melgueil, which for the first time the name of Montpellier appears.

In 2015, according to the projections established by INSEE, the urban surface of Montpellier should count more than 600.000 inhabitants.
The urban surface gathers all the communes, of which at least 40% of the active people in Montpellier, that is to say 74 communes.
The climate of Montpellier is a Mediterranean climate.
Contrary to a spread idea, it does not rain less in Montpellier that in Brest, but precipitations are much concentrated.

Hello Joël,
A nice capture of this trio of musicians. The tight square frame is just right. The atmosphere is enhanced by the fine lighting. Very good colours and sharpness.

Hi Joel,
Scene caught wonderfully. To feel from the photo the joy of the playing music....the urban life is going on in the background meanwhile. I like the sculptures of the building which can be seen in the background, it seems, as if the music would be listened to. Superb photo. Have a nice day!

très bonne approche des musiciens. Ce que plus me satisfait ici est cette lumière dorée et douce qui arrive sur le sujet. La coupe fermée aussi aide à les valoriser dans la composition. Félicitations!

A fine street scene and daily life capture, Rather than looking at this fine photo, I would like to listen to their music. A well composed picture with many good lines, like one from the violin to the hair of the girl and also the parallel lines between the bow and the bass strings. Well observed!

Tu as bien capturé l'expression joyeuse de ces musiciens. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs des instruments de musique et des musiciens. Le sujet est bien cadré. La luminosité donne un bon éclairage au groupe. Bonne soirée.

Voilà un cadrage parfait ! chaque personnage occupe une place idéale. Et il y a une belle dynamique de part les flous de mouvement des bras de ces musiciens. C'est une belle ambiance colorée, il me manque juste le son... Bravo !

Bonjour Joël,

Toute l'ambiance et le rythme de cette musique bien rendue par cette composition. Attitudes et expressions des musiciens très bien captées. Excellent cadrage également avec cette jolie chevelure auburn à l'avant-paln gauche, on devine l'écoute admirative de cette jeune fille qui semble préférer les musiciens au photographe ( Le monde est parfois tellement injuste)
Il ne manque que le son de la musique mais cela on ne peut pas le reprocher au photographe. .)

Bonita foto dos artistas na rua, capturada com excelentes cores e iluminação! Gostei muito do enquadramento fechado nos músicos, e mesmo assim mostrando bastantes pessoas em sua volta. Muito bom trabalho!
