Photographer’s Note
Continuing the theme of my two previous photos (photo 1, photo 2), this upload is set in the charmingly ancient temple complex. On this occasion, a particularly enthusiastic bhajan group from Delhi had usurped the temple complex, usually the territory of the Bhatt pandits who operate the temple and it's town. Of course, they don't mind the invasion, as you can see from this photo.
Granted, he may have little to do with the Gaelic bards of the yesteryear, and neither is this photo intended to be a replica of the awe-inspiring romantic painting of the same name by John Martin. Nevertheless, the poetic charm of the himalayas, combined with the historical beauty of the temples, is capable of infusing romanticism in a salesperson. Perhaps that's why the hand expression of the bard in Martin's painting is almost identical to that of our friend here. Perhaps that's why the photographer is inspired to capture the mood and essence of the scene.
Speaking of poetry, you might notice the little logo in the corner. Chitrakavya is sanskrit for "picture-poetry", and refers here to the poetry in photography. Conversely (and this is it's original connotation), it refers to a visual aspect of poetry, such as using shapes to format Sanskrit verse. Not bad for a photography portfolio, I thought; so, I worked a bit in photoshop, et voila.

I'm sure this is good portrait & useful theme. Well captured compo, lighting, tight framing. I love your idea about "Chitrakavya" poetry in photography. Yes, I think it's strong for your photography portfolio. Have a great future, BMukherjee.
Greetings from Bogor, Khalid
