Watching the tourists - II Photo

Photographer’s Note

Founded in the 14th century, just after the fall of Bagan, Sagaing has been the capital for several years. Nowadays, it has around 600 monasteries and convents and it's a real attraction for visitors.
It's worth to reach the top of Sagaing Hill and enjoy the view around, it's really hard to count all the temples that can be seen from this place.
It was in Sagaing that I found this nun, at the window of her convent, watching the tourists passing.

gostei bastante da naturalidade no sorriso da criança. O enquadramento fechado com a inclusão da janela nos dá referência do lugar. Bonito retrato. Parabéns!

Hi Ana,
This is a very lovely shot, yes, it can be very interesting to see tourist going by. I remeber as a child myself, to see strangers in our little town, especially of different skin than our. We are carious as a child always. This one is especially nice wiht her beautiful smile looking through the window. thanks.

Ela parece uma menina, tão sorridente... Com este grande número de templos, decerto muitos jovens vão seguir a vida religiosa. Excelente captura, ótimo contraste entre o exterior e o escuro interior, realçando a imagem da monja. Muito boas cores e detalhes.

Olá Ana,
Very beautiful picture of this young nun. Her pink dresses go well with the blue wall and window shutters.
I like the fact she isn't positioned in the middle of the window and also the Burmese writing on the wall.
