Photographer’s Note

A new view on Mourne Wall, close to the top of Slieve Bearnagh. Note on the right in the background the wall passing by other mountains of Mournes. I increased saturation to answer to critiques made on my previous post, but not too much so that colours are still natural. But you have to know that those dull colours are the natural ones of Mournes, a barren and desolate area.

hello Olivier,
nice shot, I'm just wondering, did you walk along this wall up to the top of this hill? Hope you did:) outstanding scenery, excellent light, you were lucky for the weather my friend. It's hard to get such a nice weather in UK or Ireland as you probably know. Anyway great pic allover.

Ah yes, another Great Wall of the UK :) It really does looks like the Great Wall of China looking at the thumbnail. Once again, Great details, good sharpness, well manage light, the hills are lovely with the fresh green. the line of the wall lead us up to top of the hill and beautiful blue sky. I think the blue sky can be a little less saturated but deeper tone. Thanks.

Bonjour !

J'avoue que j'ai une très grosse préférence pour cette photo par rapport à la précédente. Le point de vue donne la pleine mesure de l'aspet désertique du mourne wall et de sa longueur puisqu'on le voit à l'arrière plan sur une autre montagne (ou je me trompe peut être ?).
En tout cas bravo pour la photo et vivement la prochaine en haut de la montagne !

joli....
on dirais la muraille en plus petit.
un pdv bien pensé avec ce mur qui nous mène au sommet de la colline,les couleurs sont agréables et douces.
