Something different..not a portrait bang on..which is getting fairly predictable..the low angle has created such an impact to the frame..the light too has given birth to subtle shadows..perfect inverted triangle below the right eye..one could only construct that in studio lights..
well done

Hi Caleb,
I like the diagonal lines formed of the shadows along her face and which continue in an imaginary line from her eyes. Marvellous colours!
Kind regards

Hi Caleb!
Great portrait! The way she's looking, the low pov, the light on her face, the adornments, everything is perfect here.I like the blurred background too!

Hi Caleb,
That's unusual from you, this POV! The effect is very sensual, the attention caught by the lips instead of the eyes, glamour, with all these jewels, and with a perfect management of light. The colors are eye-catching too, with the charming opposition between blue and pink. Bravo.

Hello Caleb,
She has a lovely face, but so is the picture, When in Pushkar, last week, I was thinking of taking pictures of people in the shade and avoid the sun for more dramatic portraits with dark backgrounds ( Thanks to the D700 with less grain )and so on. Now that I see this lovely one taken in full sunshine, I start thinking that I might be wrong.
Pushkar was so crowded that only on few occasions IO was able to open the tripod, there was hardly room for my feet let alone the tripod. Another disappointment was about the Lake, which was dry: A huge brown ditch instead of reflections of the ghats. few women bathed in specially prepared small pools nearby. No photo there of course.
To reply to your second question, I am fine for the moment being, but certainly not cheerful these days.
Keep well my friend - Izzet
