Photographer’s Note

The Saluda River was named after the Saluda Indian tribe, which lived along the banks of this river.
This shot was taken just after daybreak. The leaves are now peaking in South Carolina which adds to the beauty of this scenic river.

What a beautiful landscape picture ! The format is very well chosen , colors are superb . The little mist on the river adds to the magic atmosphere . I don't allways like the effect of the long exposure (it's a personnal taste). But here , it works very well .

Like the wide effect on this image. The colors are vibrant and image sharp. The best part of thsi image is the the water. What was your shutter speed? Nice work

This is a magnificant picture and you have presented it well. I love how the light is shinning off the trees and there is mist coming off the water. Great time elapse photo to create a fantastic shot of the river here. Great clarity and DOF too. I can see the moss glinting off the rocks. Nice wide angle shot as well.

That is one of the prettiest rivers and you have done it great justice. Fantastic colors, great wide view, lovely light and I like the way the mist is coming off the river. I like the effect of the slow shutter speed on the water, too. Did you take this from one of the riverfront parks?? GREAT shot! Many thanks and kind regards,
