Photographer’s Note
Sunsets in the Gulf of Mexico can be quite amazing to say the least!
This one being no exception, actually shot about 100-120 miles SSE of Galveston (unfortunately I forgot to note the exact position at the time).
The "Sunset" mode in the camera seems to have handled the light well. No post processing, just size reduced.

Hi Damon,
you have recorded a real great moment of our nature. There are pretentious colours. Interesting reflections on the water and loosen clouds which make this photo real impressive...

Bonjour Damon,
Superbes couleurs pour ce ciel enflammé qui colore la mer.
C'est une superbe image.
Merci pour ce partage.

Hello Damon, Very vivid sunset. Red and red. Well done, Good contrast between the dark water and the sunset. Curious if you tried to lighten it at all. Probably this choice is the best. i am always looking at pictures and wondering what if I did this or that. Thanks for a gorgeous sunset. Regards, Roger
