Photographer’s Note

Hi everyone, this was a barn photo I took earlier but wasn't sure if I wanted to post it. But after looking at it again today I like its classic looks and colours and it has red berries in the FG to match. I am going to be starting a barn shot collection, it seems. This one was found in my neighbourhood as well in Surrey, BC.

Beautibul red barn in natural surrondings. Good framing. The architecture is interesting. I`m looking forward to your barn shot collection. Great shot with good composition. Maybe you could have displayed all of the trees behind the barn. Well done! Thanks for sharing.

I remember that day when we went out to shoot it together.
I agree, i paticularily like the berries in the foreground matching the redbarn.
Excellent placement and composition.

elle est superbe cette grange toute rouge éclatant, tu as bien fait d'émettre ce cliché car il est de toute beauté, j'ai aussi plusieurs granges à mon actif tu peux aller voir dans mes thèmes si cela peut t'aider.

This is a unique picture of a barn. The foreground grasses make this barn more naturally situated. It makes me feel like this is a beauttiful rural area to be visited. Well done. Sothy

Hellol Tosca, Splendid shot of this barn. Most barns in the midwest US are red, so this is no exception. Nice composition and a wee bit of clouds in the background. regards. Roger

Nothing wrong with this one. The new paint really shows well and makes the barn pop and the surrounding foliage is a bonus. Its fun to concentrate on one subject. I was doing fences for quite a while.

The little red barn really pops out at you. You have framed it very well making good use of the surrounding vegetation with its complementary red foliage. Very good colours and sharpness.

Hi Tosca,
Nice composition of this coloured subject surrounded by a wild nature to which you gave most of the space here. The place from where you shot with the vegetation partly covering the barn puts the observer in the position of a spy, hiding himself behind the foliage. The vegetation makes a nice foreground with the red berries echoing the coloured barn, but I find it a bit too invasive. By taking the picture from higher up, the barn would be free of those disturbing herbs and would better stand out. It's a nice shot anyway.

Hello Tosca, I agree with you about the colours here, it's what makes it for me. Well composed, nice low POV, interesting FG, plenty of depth, Barn in a good position in the frame, a very pleasant scene but again it's the colours, look at the red barn, a beautiful red & so rich. Certainly worth posting.

A nice barn with an extremely attractive color, the vegetation that it makes a detour with these warm colors of the gilding to the red one, they do more attractive the image. A good composition.

Just beautiful the barn house on the plain, unfortunely the environment is a bit dim,
good pov with including some foreground plants to hide up a bit the barn house, I can see some leaves were turn into autumn color, very nice, thanks for sharing.
