Photographer’s Note

this is the escalator at the new Seattle Public Library. the library is a very interesting architectural piece, I will post more pictures of it.

the bright colors of this escalator were very interesting to me. a lot of the colors, shapes and lines in this building are very provocative, and not 'quiet' as one might expect in a library.

Un photo très graphique, la couleur fluo souligne les lignes convergentes vers le haut de l'image.
L'escalier crée un bon contraste.

Quelle belle vision futuriste ! l'ambiance est particulièrement inquiétante voire dramatique mais réellement splendide. Le cadrage que tu proposes est très dynamique. Bravo à toi !

Hi,when I saw the thumbnail I knew immediately that had to be the Seattle Library.I was there this summer and did't shoot the escalator.Yours is a phantastic image of it.Perfect colors and DOF.Best regards Wolf.
