Photographer’s Note
That was the view from my room in a beautiful cave hotel (***SEE WORKSHOP***) in Ayvali. Ayvali is a small but beautiful village, very close to famous Sinassos (Mustafapasa). The hotel was located inside a small gorge, where a very old Greek-Orthodox Monastery used to be.

Hola Hercules,
Felicidades,
Carlos

Hello Hercules,
A fairy-tale-like atmosphere! Love the magical blue light with the golden accents! Good job!
It must have been a nice place to stay, with a view like this! The caves in the centre at the bottom look to me like the eyes and nostrils of some kind of a gigantic petrified beast! TFS and have a nice day!

Hi Hercules,
the Cappadocia must be a lovely country, but when there is a photography master as you are it becomes a dreamy land: the landscape is unbelievable. It seems not reality. The colours are magnificent, the atmosphere is fantastic.
Have a nice day

Kalispera Hercules.

Dear Hercules, congratulations on your 750th post! What an achievement and your photos are both a wonderful contribution and a learning tool for so many here on TE. This photo is almost lunar in it's essence. Your title is most appropriate. May I ask how the purple tones came to be? Did you "paint" the scene with a flashlight or was it obtained from ambient light? Either way, it is a most remarkable photo, thanks for sharing, Lisa.
