Photographer’s Note
Another shot from my visit with Danilo to Arlginton National Cemetery. It is amazing to me the brilliance of L'Enfant to be able to structure things so that you can stand almost anywhere and see rows going in multiple directions, perfectly aligned.

Hi Micheal,
Well captured scene with great depth added by the memorial stones, which contrast with the lovely autumn colours. This is a moving place and seem appropriatly restful and tranquil.

Hello Michael
Well presentated image from this graveyard, with the stones creating an interesting pattern under the accompaniment of autumnal trees and dead leaves on the ground. The whole image and the composition is executed with a decent gentle touch. The colours are great and so is the DOF. Well done! Thanks for sharing.
Best regards, Erling

Looking at your shot brings about a very humbling feeling. People that have died in order that others may survive. Trees that grow while stones gather moss. An eternal rainbow of colours throughout the seasons.
May both those whose names are mentioned, and those whose names are not, rest in peace.
TFS.

Hi Michael,
C'est terrible, mais ce cliché est très beau, la chaleur qui s'en dégage nous permets d'avoir une pensée pour la mémoire de ces hommes mort dans les différentes guerres menées par les USA au travers des ages.

Michael,
This is a fine autumn shot of this very moving place. Your composition is great showing the gravestones reaching as far as the eye can see. This is a fine tribute to the men and women who have given their lives serving their country. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has nice sharpness and detail.
TFS,
Asa
