Photographer’s Note
Oktober is the de month of funghi. This red-white little ones (Amanita muscaria) are the favourites of children and adults. When someone spot one of this at the forest you almost always see them looking very happy. This little one was 'hiding'between a bunch of leafs so almost no one spot him. We did ;-)

Hi Kik,
Very nice one! I love the warm colours and the shallow depth of field you used, which emphasizes how you revealed it despite it's hiding place.
It's a shame, but until now I've had no time to go out and take pictures this autumn.
Greetings, Lia

Bonjour Kik,
excellente composition de l'image , le champignon se trouve excatement où il doit être .
Le coup de flash est un peu trop visible à mon goût .
Bonne journée.

Good morning, Kik,
A very brave use of a vertical format for this kind of a shot, but it works very well. I like the inclusion of the person in the BG and in fact the inclusion of such a large background as such. It works well thanks to the nice bokeh you achieved by using such a shallow DOF. I hope you won't mind if I add your shot to the mushroom theme I created last week, to celebrate autumn at its best! Hi KIKs,
lovely composition. It's such a nice approach of the little funghi. The light is so good that it looks a studio photo :) The blurred person in the back is a good second focal point and it shares well the space available in the frame. Great one!

Carlos

Hi kik,
An intrigueing play on sharpness and out of focus elements. Love the crystal clear focus on the feature red fungi - a well executed shot well presented. TFS. Gerald

Hi Kik,
This is lovely, very cute, very nice and appropriate title. It is like a little child playing hide and seek. Very lovely macro shot. Great detail on the little red mushroom while the rest of image is blur that bring our attention to your main subject. Great low POV. Beautiful and rich colors.
Thanks

Dag Kik,
Bedankt.
Groeten,
John

I'm no diferent from the others and love these Amanita too. They are so beautiful it's hard to believe they are poisonous. Excellent focus on the treasure and beautiful effect from the rest of the image in out of focus, both in FG and BG.
Best regards,
ricardo

Hello,
After having seen the last posts of Carper with same mushroom, it is fun to see your proposal with a different composition and focal used.
This time we have a narrow deep of field putting in blur the background with a nice bokeh.
In fact, narrow DOF or total one are 2 options which can work.
Yves.

Hi Kiks. Wonderful colors of those nasty little things (this last week 3 people died in Portugal because of them). Wonderful depth, nice composition. Well done. BEst regards. PAulo
