A longer exposure (with tripod, of course) would improve a lot the picture.

Great forest scene you have here, the use of the vertical composition is perfect for the flowing waters, and the vivid colors are just splendid :)
I'd be curious to see a few workshop variations with a longer exposure or with a horizontal frame.
