Hello Caleb,
The venerable man seems to mock you, and he is probably right to do so...
Fine detail and colours, a pleasure to look at as usual.

Hi Namloc,
I like that one Cal, mostly for the good soft light, the facial features of your subject and the fine embroidery and details of his costume.
Whatever he is holding in his hand, the effect his cool and efficient to drag us into the scene and to establish a direct contact with the viewer.
The skin look barbecued on my screen, but these skin tones are so delicate to balance and adjust and no one have the same viewing device so... I guess you did it well in front of your own computer.
Cheers buddy!

hahaha very true..i was similar situations at times..its an outlet for them too...to see and interact with tourists..they feel good..surely it does get claustrophobic in the monastery 24x7x365..
Great colours as usual..would you get the same results had you shot this in Jpeg fine ???

Hi Caleb
He invits me, but I don't understand for what!
Really stunning portrait, well framed, colourfull, sharp, on a dull background which enhances the smiling face.
Great job!

Hi Caleb!
This one is, for me, a big hit, really excellent. Because the composition is perfect, with the character so eager to cross the limit, ready to jump from fiction to reality like in "The purple rose of Cairo" and with the very fresh and direct contact that it creates with us, discovering his laughing face and his teasing look. I also like the inviting gesture that calls us out. It gives a good dynamic to the portrait. The vivid colors, the sharp details of his furrowed face, sustain very well his attitude. The focus is perfect and with more dull colors in the background, the effect of the bokeh is stronger. The saturation is well-groomed. No barbecue on my side, lol! Congratulations!
