Photographer’s Note

This is my own narrative:

Now it is the Muslim pilgrimage season has started. Pilgrims embark from places all over the world toward Mecca. Before the hajj season, some may stop at Medina to pay respect to Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h.
This shot depicted the other way.
This is the moment when they came back last year. As you could witness they were so many peeople at the airport waiting to see their relatives and friends after about 40 days of being in the holy land.
The 40-day in al-Haramain ( two cities Mecca & Medina) is a real challenge and indeed a very personal spiritual journey to the Muslims.
They get what they got in the intention of going.
Some would feel easy and light, as their intention of going is taken like a tourism. Some would feel the beauty of spiritual world when they observed the daily journey of hardship in millions of people crowding into each other. Feeling isolated though in a crowd. Feeling inferior when neglected though your are an executive in town. Those are the mixed feeling and struggle in understanding oneself in the journey to Mecca and coming back.
The real challenge of coming back is to be consistent in upkeeping the good deeds practice there.
So this moment is captured in an old camera seen here, whom I do not know recording his family coming back from Mecca. Im also waiting for a friend to return to see the joy, agony and the beauty of visitng the holy city of Mecca.
And to share the beauty of performing hajj from the person experiencing it.
