Photographer’s Note

A fellow photographer at the demonstration last Saturday - his camera was even older than mine!
Good to see some crazy film shooters still out there. It's not just me...

Hello Ben,
An interesting man with an interesting camera. The green scarf is the colourful touch that was needed. The light falls very nicely on his face. Fine blurred background of all these young people.

Hi Ben.
That is an old camera! He looks quite a character. I like the great effect of the green scarf, and the blurry background - not too blurred so that we can still make out the faces and details, but throwing the form of the camera man into sharp relief. Nice glint caught in his eye, great lighting. Well done.

Hi Ben, that camera is probably a good 30 to 40 years older than he is! But all credit to him for using it - it certainly can't be easy. He does stand out nicely against the blurred background. Lovely rich colours too.
