The Crooked House II Photo

Photographer’s Note

Handheld shot straight from our almost empty SPA resort:)
The crooked House was built in Sopot in 2003, the most recognizable (and frequently photographed) landmark is located in the main street - Monte Cassino.
It houses pubs, restaurants, disco, cafe and some art shops.
Highly recommended:)

Ach, jak ja nie lubie tego krzywego domu, zawsze omijam z daleka:) Za to fotka podoba mi sie bardzo, ten "zakretas" wyglada tu lepiej niz w rzeczywostosci, ale moze sztuczne swiatlo nadaje taki specyficzny klimat..sama nie wiem. W kazdym razie zdjecie na duze TAK.
Swietnie, ze ten przechodzacy czlowiek znalazl sie w kadrze. Odwalil dobra robote:)

The combination with the fuzzy man makes thsi a spooky photo from an unreal world. Good light with all the neons and shadows.

Czesc Gosiu,
To CI dopiero scenka z filmu grozy. Krzywy dom, tajemniczy cien- tylko drzewo tutaj wyglada "normalnie". Superanckie miejsce i fajna fota.

Hahaha!
This house must be the dreamwork of the architect/designer but the nightmare of the civil engineer(s) responsible of building it :)
Looks like a reflection on a wavy surface. It is nice to learn about such a building exists somewhere on this world.

Czolem Ophelcia!
Zabawna budowal, kiczowata, to fakt, ale zabawna, tez probowalem fotografowac w tym miejscu pare lat temu. Bardzo dobra fotografia wykonana noca. Dobre swiatlo, pieknie rozjechana postac przechodnia, narkotyczny efekt.

Wybrałaś właściwą godzinę na ten strzał. Blue hour w całej okazałości. Domek dobrze wykadrowany, rozmyta postać na pierwszym planie dodaje dynamiki

Czesc Gosia,
Nie wiedzialem ze w Polsce bywa taka architektura. Kiedy pokazywalas kiedys domki z Duesseldorfu myslalem czemu u nas buduje sie tylko betonowe kloce bez pomyslu, a tu popatrz.
Bardzo urocza architektura.
Prezentacja rowniez nietuzinkowa, przede wszystkim wybor blue hour byl dobrym pomyslem, swietna jest tez ta sylwetka w ruchu ktora znalazle sie we wlasciwym miejscu o wlasciwym czasie.
Jedyne co troszeczke bym zmienil: troszke wszesniej zrobione mialoby nieco lepsza rownowage oswietlenia domu z niebem poniewaz pomimo ze to owszem blue hour to jednak budynek jest nieco mocniej oswietlony i wtedy lepiej zaczac pstrykac przed blue hour.

Brawa dla architekta!
Znam ten budynek ale nigdy bym nie uwierzył w jego istnienie po zobaczeniu tylko jednego zdjęcia.
Z innego świata pomysł, rewelacja.
A zdjęcie bardzo klimatyczne z tym ghostem.

Zgadzam się z jednym z przedmówców - ta chałupka robi lepsze wrażenie na zdjęciu niż w rzeczywistości.

Ładne blue hour, domek pięknie oświetlony.

Cześć Gosia,

Fajny pokręcony budynek. Aż dziw bierze że ktoś się odważył to zbudować. Zaglądając w dane zdjęcia: ISO 1600 czyli i 1/6 czyli z ręki robione. Jeśli tak to ostrość bardzo dobra jak na tak wysokie ISO.

just incredible! At first I had thought it was a mirror distorsion.
A very fine composition with perfect lighting management and a very good framing. Beside being really original it stroke my eye for being bright and alive.

No no no the house is straight and nice, you just shooted it with the wrong camera, throw away this poor Nikon and get yourself a Canon, then you'll see the light ;-)
