Photographer’s Note
Hello friends in TE.
I'm stuck in this newly established neighborhood of semi-detachd houses this weekend. While waiting for the builder to do some minor renovation, I decided to walk around with my Nikon FM2 and 55mm Macro lens looking for urban macro subjects. I was suprised with the number of butterflies inclding Common lime around this place. I spotted this rather tame Asian amberwings well perched on the chain-link and took a couple of frames on film. With Canon G7 in my pocked, this is something that can't be missed. I shot this about an hour ago locking the ISO to 80 (my favorite setting with this little camera) against the newly constructed houses and the beautiful sky.
Thanks for viewing and have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Jusni,
great macro photo! Such good details on the butterfly and excellent depth. The blurred building in the background shows how urban this is. Very well done!

Hi Jusni,
A spot on macro shot focusing on the head of this little creature. I like the soft and light coloured background which gives you a good contrast. It shows that one need not go far for a good photo.

Hello Jusni,
I'm admiring the pin sharp details in the dragonfly!
They can be found in urban areas too, even if I guess they prefer more open space...
A well framed macro, the colours of the insect are stunning!

Hi Jusni
You are great, you know all these names of the insect, of which I hardly know one. Excellent macro shot as well. Purist would see, that you should shot lower then F5, but that most probably was not possible. Top sharpness and very vibrant colors well done
Best regards
Urs

Salam Jusni,
wow...the urbanised dragonfly is not afraid of anything now. Children wond poke him with tall grasses, the existence is not very much noticed. It is only to some naturalist like you .
Well shot to depict the binary and contradt in living in this rat race of concrete jungle.
Hope you establish more of this urban macro which is rexciting to depict and talk about.
You made this dragon look so monstrous and the bulging eyes took the lead.
Well seen.
regards,
Foozi

Hello Jusni,
the Macro lens worked very well :)) Excellent DOF and natural colours :)
Dragonflies are so difficult to take photos of! they fly away in an instant..
Best regards,
Have a nice week!
