Autumn at its best Photo

Photographer’s Note

Yesterday - after dense fog in the morning - we have had an autumn day from the book of fairytales. In background you still can see some high fog ...

My photo was taken near the beautiful village Grafschaft in the low mountain range Rothaargebirge (please see map view right hand).
Rothaargebirge - with mountains up to 843 metres - is a wonderful hiking region with well marked hiking trails.

Ein sehr schöner Blick in die Ferne,diese Straße entlang.
Gute Tiefe und das Orange der Birken ist wunderschön.
Ich mache mich gleich auf den Weg um noch etwas Sonne zu erwischen.

wunderbares Herbstbid! Ihr habt also auch einen goldenen Herbst... sehr schön ist der Blick längs der Straße, in die Ferne über die grünen Hügel...

Superbe prise de vue où l'automne est fort joliment mis en image.
Un cadrage fort bien pensé.
Très belle peinture automnale.
Ici, ciel gris, les feuilles virevoltent à la moindre brise et jonchent le sol de pièces d'or !

Hello Frank,
I fully agree with the title you've chosen. If everyday could be like this, October would be more bearable. A marvellous combination of rusty yellow, green and blue. The road goes nicely downhill along the line of trees, into the valley with yet more lovely trees.

This is a well composed autumn landscape. The road creates a nice lead in for the shot. The repeating pattern formed by the trees gives the shot a sense of direction. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has excellent sharpness and DOF.

The title says it! A truly fine autumn photo with a wonderful atmosphere. I really enjoy the well caught autumn colours, the variety of orange and green and the blue sky. Also the composition and perspective are excellent. You still have most of the leaves up on the trees, while we already have most of them on the ground already. This photo indeed invites for a pleasant hike!

nous avons eu en Belgique, un début d'automne sous une météo vraiment clémente, ce qui a permis de magnifique photos. Et je vois que dans ta région il en est de même.
Charment endroit bien entretenu, où les teintes de l'automne se mêlent aux verts intenses.
Une profondeur de scène incoyable, tout cela invite à la balade.

I'm glad I clicked on your gallery again today - I haven't missed out on this stunner. It's one of my favourite autumn images from your current season. The composition is just wonderful - what a gorgeous little path, and what a lovely view. The bright golden leaves look superb, and the whole picture is saturated just right. The photo has amazing depth. It's a classic, and I think it deserves a great deal of recognition.
