Photographer’s Note

Here's another photo from my walk around the Bellevue Estate Pond in Bellevue State Park. No enhancement of color was needed as it was late afternoon and the light was gorgeously golden on a perfect fall day.

Hello Lois,
Superb use of reflections, and wonderful "skyless" photo. It gives a closed feeling, and makes me feel there. The crop on the top is well done. Also the two figures add a lot.

Hi Lois,

This is a nice shot. Warm colours. Great framing using the leaves. Nice use of the DOF....but not just so. I have preferred the subjects to be in focus, but the trunk of the tree seems to be.

Anyhow, great atmosphere. Congrats!

Ce qu'il y a parfois de beau avec l'automne, c'est lorsque le matin se lève après une semaine de pluie, de vent et brouillard et que tout l'espace, brutalement, semble se gorger de soleil.
Très bel hommage rendu à l'automne. Magnifique peinture.

je découvre ta galerie, vraiment variée ety avec des photos de qualité mises à part quelques unes. Celle-ci est de toute splendeur avec ses couleurs d'automne et ses reflets magnifiques.

the composition is very nice here, having mostly water...and the colors are great. i feel as though nothing is in focus, though. the people or the tree should be in focus.
