Photographer’s Note

Thanks to josepmarin for his remark because I catch the wrong text from my Excel-file. This the l'Aiguille Verte (4122m) a mountain in the Mont Blanc Massif in the French Alps.

Panorama of Aiguille du Midi. In 1924 the first section of the Aiguille du Midi lift was opened. The second section La Para - Les Glaciers was completed three years later. It was then the highest cable car in the world. From here you have a splendid view to the Mt. Blanc and the glacier around, as well you see a great panorama of the Alps.

Hallo Achim,
I am sorry, but I must say that the mountains that we see in this photo are l'Aiguille Verte (4122m), and to the right the Grand Dru (3754m) and the Petit Dru (3730m), as you can verify here: http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aiguille_Verte

Nevertheless, in the WS yes that we see a close-up on the constructions and the antenna of L'Aiguille du Midi.
But the main photo that you present is very good, the mountains of Chamonix's Valley fascinate me, I have visited this beautiful place three times, and also I have "climbed" L'Aiguille du Midi in its cable car for three times.

Hi Achim,

The point of view from the bottom to the top of the mountain is giving perspective to the composition. It is also showing the details and colors of the mountain. The subject is well framed. The reflection of the light on the snow is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.
