Photographer’s Note

it was during our driving from Belgium to Livorno, Italy. we stopped at the Swiss border to buy the "road toll" sticker. i saw these tents are interesting under a cloudy day, so i used low angle to get it. it was a 12 hours drive to get to Italy. i was enjoying my driving in Switzerland, i passed snow mountains, lakes and lots tunnels. i love this country!

Hi Jean-Paul
Since I lived in the region during 20 years, I can tell you there is a little mistake in your location, while you image shows the swiss-french customs station it is located entirely on french territory so you should file it under France / Region Alsace / Saint-Louis
Nice highlights on the tents and an attractive cloudy sky

Hi Jean Paul,
The sky is spectacular and has an amazing effect that gives a lot of strength to this image, and the tents (of a circus?) with its vertical supports, add a good graphism to the composition, in this dynamic low-angle shot.

Hi J-P, I like how this shot is under-exposed to give is those deep blue hues and emphasise that amazing cloud formation. The white "thingies" are very interesting and attractive against the sky. Great work, TFS and enjoy what's left of your week, Lisa.

Hello Jean. I think the very bottom of the frame could have been cropped off to emphasis the tents and sky aspect of this photo. I do love the clouds bringing excellent contrast to the setting.
