Photographer’s Note

The Church of Our Lady of Nazareth, built on the. XVIII is located in the district of Morro Vermelho (Red Hill). Its facade has three windows and over his plan is divided into nave and the choir has an altar with baroque carvings. Internally, the chapel has a mid-century painting of the nineteenth century that represents the source of all the cult of Our Lady of Nazareth.

In the chapel, behind the parapet wall, the painting depicts the four doctors of the Church: St. Gregory, St. Jerome, St. Ambrose and St. Augustine and the roofs of both nave and choir authorship suggest two different painters.

The cult of Our Lady of Nazareth is a miracle that occurred on September 14, 1182, in the fields of Nazareth, north of Lisbon. According to legend, Sun Fuas Roupinho, former governor of Porto de Mos, raced horses in the fields of Nazareth, chasing a stag, which suddenly disappeared. At this time, Knight had in mind the vision of a cliff and invoking the protection of the Virgin, made the horses stop at the edge, to save the life of Don Fuas. They say the captain general ordered the construction of the Chapel of the report that, over time, has undergone several changes to the century. Century a new church replaced the entire ancient monument. The devotion to Our Lady of Nazareth, in Minas Gerais is very old, but few churches built in the territory of the State.

Excelente luz e nitidez. Bonito céu azul, embora talvez não fosse necessário mostrar tanto, já que só olhamos para a fachada, visto ter tanto impacto.

Olá Lucas,

eu particularmente gosto bastante dessas fotos simétricas. Aqui funciona muito bem para deixar a imagem dinâmica. O brilho e as cores estabelecidas fazem da foto um prazer visual. Para completar aquele céu azulão ao fundo. Ótimo registro e produção!

Linda fachada da Igreja de Nossa Senhora de Nazaré. Em Belém o Círio acontece no segundo domingo de outubro. As cores estão esplêndidas, lindo contraste com o azul polarizado do céu.

Lucas,
um registro frontal, bem nítido, farto em detalhes da bonita igreja.
Gostei muito do telhado das torres e do sino na torre à direita. A esquerda, os alto-falantes, apesar de serem o "retrato" de pequenas comunidades, quebrou a harmonia do conjunto histórico, bem como a placa do evento.

Fine exposure and details and just stunning against the saturated blue sky. Some traces of thin veil of cloud making this shot very attractive. Well done. Jusni

Voilà une composition qui me plaît beaucoup par son sujet (une papagolfade) ! ;o)
J'admire cette architecture simple, mais ô combien efficace. Je remarque que la modernité s'est installée à la vue de ces haut-parleurs placés sur l'un des clochers de cette très sympathique église.
L'image est belle et ressort admirablement avec ce ciel d'un bleu profond.
