Photographer’s Note

I'm not sure I've ever seen a prettier place than Glen Etive. Nearby Glen Coe is beautiful, but the thousands of rhododendron bushes in Glen Etive, combined with lovely Loch Etive and the rugged surrounding peaks, made this valley seem idyllic. The road is very narrow, but as hardly anyone drives this way, it doesn't really matter much.

The lovely flowers in front are effective eye-catchers!
Great contrast with the fresh green landscape, and the scene has a fine feeling of summer...
A balanced composition with good depth!

Décidement, ce Royaume Uni, que l'on dit gris , pluvieux ,venteux, regorge de petites perles, des couleurs extras pour le remier plan,un regard qui se prolonge sur cette belle montagne,et les fameux nuages...
Un grand bravo.

Hi Clark,
I just drove in Glen Coe, enough to love it as you did ! Next time I will be in Scotland, I think I will stay longer there. So the place is beautiful, but your photo is too ! The light is very nice, the colours are fantastic and I love the POV you chose, with the rhododendron bushes in the foreground.
