The Datooga, known as the Mang'ati in Swahili, are a pastoralist Nilotic people of north-central Tanzania south of Ngorongoro Crater. In 2000 the Datoga population was estimated to number 87,978.They are the fastest-growing group in Tanzania. (Source: Wikipedia)
The woman is the grandmother of the child. She was living with the mother and two husbands of the latter in a hut made of mud and straw. The two men were forgers.
