Photographer’s Note
It had been raining and raining (is raining again today), but the sun came out yesterday afternoon and I grabbed my little "walking around" camera and went for a walk to Bellevue State Park and the Bellevue Estate Pond. This shot gives you an idea of both the beautiful fall color, and the amount of rain. In my 21 years of living here, I have never seen the pond so high that it came over the bank and pooled around the picnic bench. Here's the way it usually looks. Yes, the photo on the link is the same bench in the same place!

A very simple image that shows so many things. I like the ripples on the pond and the color of the drowned star shaped leaves. The mirage on the water tells us of the surrounding colors.
Best regards

bonjour
